Cappuccino Brulee Bread
  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • ¼ cup coffee liqueur
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a Milkhouse Creamery loaf crock with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, blending well. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a small bowl. Stir the espresso powder into the milk and liqueur in a separate bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture gradually, alternating with the espresso mixture. Combine well.
  3. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle top of loaf with the raw sugar and bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until bread test done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place on rack until completely cool.
