A favorite Milkhouse fragrance is “Peach”. It is so fresh and true, it just makes your mouth water.
As a nod to southern cuisine, let’s make a Georgia Peach cocktail. It just seems like the right thing to do with the days getting warmer and the evenings longer.
Some of my favorite memories are of attending the farmers market in Atlanta and enjoying those delicious just picked peaches brought in off the farm. Sweet, juicy, and fragrant.
Just look at the color of this beautiful cocktail. The flavor captures that just picked flavor and aroma. You might as well mix this in pitcher so you can sit back, relax and let the refills take care of themselves.
You can enjoy this year round, but I think it is especially delicious when you can garnish it with a perfectly ripe slice of Georgia peach.
- 1 cup peach schnapps
- ¼ cup light rum
- ½ cup pink lemonade
- ½ cup peach nectar
- ¼ cup Crème de Cassis
- Fresh Peach Slices and raspberries for garnish
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a cocktail pitcher over ice. Stir will. Garnish with fresh peaches and raspberries if desired. Makes 4 drinks.
