Chinese New Year is February 19th.   2015 is the year of the goat.

Legend has it that in ancient times, Buddha asked all of the animals to meet him on the Chinese New Year.  Twelve came and Buddha named a year after each one.  He declared that people born in each animal’s year would have some of that animal’s personality.   People born in the year of the goat are said to be calm, gentle, creative, thoughtful, and honest.

In the spirit of the event, let’s whip up a White Tea and Ginger cocktail.   Our White Tea & Ginger fragrance is an exotic mixture that is great for every room in the house.  It is filled with white tea notes and pungent, spicy ginger.

This refreshing cocktail is so easy to mix and draws its flavor from Sweet Tea Vodka and Ginger Ale.

A mix of creamy peanut butter with a bit of Asian garlic chili paste to taste and finished with fresh chopped cilantro makes a peanut dipping sauce for fresh snow peas.  The rest of this spread can be purchased in the frozen food section or take out from your favorite Chinese restaurant.  Shrimp with sweet chili sauce and egg rolls are always a good choice.
