“Be Mine” Valentine Cookie Mix in a Milkhouse Jar

“Be Mine”

Make your Valentine feel extra special with this “Be Mine” cookie mix jar filled with sweet ingredients ready to be whipped up into a delicious treat!

Supplies:

• Milkhouse butter jars (pictured here are the 16 oz jars-the ingredients are split between them-double the cuteness!)
• Cookie ingredients
• Ribbon & hang tags
• Recipe card

Cookie Layers:

• Bottom layer: 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons cornstarch, ¾ cup sugar, 1 tsp baking soda, pinch of salt
• Middle layer: ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed down firmly
• Top layer: 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• Toppings: 1 cup M&Ms

Recipe:

Combine ¾ cup butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 large egg in a mixer until well blended. Add jar mix and stir by hand until uniform. Form dough into ¼ cup balls. Refrigerate 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place cookie balls 2” apart on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Makes 12 cookies.
