Bunny Jars

Reuse your Milkhouse jars to create adorable little bunnies, perfect for Easter celebration centerpieces! It’s a fun craft the whole family can do.

Supplies:

  • Cleaned out Milkhouse candle jar (pictured is 16oz Butter Jar size)
  • Jar lid (optional)
  • Burlap
  • Pink paint or pink fabric
  • Black and pink markers
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun

Directions:

  1. Draw or trace bunny ear shape on burlap. Draw however many you need. Then cut out the ears.
  2. If you using pink fabric for the ears, draw a smaller ear shape so it fits inside the burlap ear. Repeat for how many ears you need, then cut them out. If using paint, paint the smaller ear shape on the burlap.
  3. If you used fabric, hot glue the smaller piece onto the burlap ear.
  4. Once the hot glue or paint is dry, glue the ears onto the back on the jar.
  5. Use the pink marker to draw the bunny nose on the front of the jar.
  6. Use the black marker to draw the eyes, whiskers and mouth.
  7. If you want to use the lid put it on the jar.
  8. Use the ribbon to create a bow. Can put it on the ears or use it as a bow tie.

Get creative! Not sure how to clean out the remaining wax in your jar? Follow the steps here.
