1. Trim The Wick
Before lighting the candle, use a wick trimmer or scissors to cut the wick to 1/4" to prevent smoking.

2. Fully Melt The Wax
After lighting the candle, allow the liquid wax pool to reach the edges of the container to prevent tunneling.

3. Dip the Wick
When the wax pool reaches the edges of the container, or after 3-4 hours of burning, take a wick dipper and push the wick down into the pool of wax to snuff out the flame. DON'T BLOW OUT the candle to reduce soot and smoke.

4. The Last Burn
Discontinue use when 1/2" inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar to avoid overheating the jar.
