HOW TO BURN YOUR CANDLE

Give it time

Burn your candle long enough for the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the jar, typically 2–4 hours. See how here.

Start at Room Temp

Always light your candle at room temperature. Cold candles may burn unevenly and limit scent throw.

Wax Never Forgets

Soy wax can “remember” how it was burned. Melting to the edges the first few burns helps it perform better for the life of the candle.

Safety & Extinguishing

Play keep-away

Always burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended and away from children and pets.

Avoid Drafts

Place your candle in a well-ventilated room, but away from drafts, vents, and ceiling fans. Air currents can cause uneven burning and excessive flickering.

Put It Out Properly

Once the wax pool reaches the edges, or after 4 hours, extinguish the flame. Use a wick dipper to avoid smoke and preserve the scent.

Aftercare & Storage

Trim the Wick

After each burn, let the candle cool and trim the wick to ¼ inch. This helps prevent smoking, controls flame size, and avoids wick “mushrooming.”

Keep It Clean

If soot forms on the jar, extinguish the candle, let it cool, and wipe the container with a warm, damp cloth. Always keep wicks centered.

Store with Care

Store candles with their lids on in a cool, dark place—away from sunlight or heat. For best results, burn indoors only. Discontinue use when just ½ inch of wax remains.
