Jim Beck and John Malikowski are the proud owners of Modern Barnyard, located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Their store has over 12,000 square feet of Home Décor, Furniture, and Gifts. They offer stylish new and repurposed home furniture and décor from local artisans in the St. Cloud area. Modern Barnyard has recently been voted a Platinum Winner by Community Votes in over six categories from furniture to home décor (see the photo of the team holding all their awards). One of our favorite things about Modern Barnyard, other than the fantastic items in the shop, is Jim and John.  They both have amazing personalities and always stop by our Milkhouse booth at the Gift Markets to make sure we’re still hanging in there on the long days!
Modern Barnyard has been selling Milkhouse Candles since its opening in 2017. Jim says that Milkhouse is their favorite candle line because of the quality of the fragrances. “They smell just as good the first time you light one, until the last burn.” Their best-selling fragrances are Cup O’ Joe, Welcome Home, and Brown Butter Pumpkin – favorites of ours at Milkhouse too!
Jim and John want other Milkhouse Stockists to know that if you burn Milkhouse tester candles in your store and talk about the benefits of Milkhouse Candles, the candles will sell themselves.
